RESTAURANTE LARGO, Lisboa

Found in the former cloisters of the convent of Basílica dos Mártires, this restaurant was beautifully designed by Miguel Câncio Martins, the Portuguese designer behind several international projects, including the famous Buddha Bar in Paris. It has three giant tanks with glowing jellyfish, creating a romantic and refined setting. There are also a few tables on the small terrace outside in the back.
The menu and the chefs have changed since opening in 2010, but the cuisine is always Portuguese and creative, and always offers the classic 80°-cod dish and good desserts.

Instalado nos antigos claustros do convento da Basílica dos Mártires, este restaurante tem uma bela decoração de Miguel Câncio Martins, designer português responsável por vários projetos internacionais, incluindo o famoso Buddha Bar de Paris. Tem três aquários gigantes com medusas luminosas, criando um cenário romântico e sofisticado. Há ainda uma pequena esplanada nas traseiras.
A ementa e o chefs têm mudado desde a abertura em 2010, mas a cozinha é sempre portuguesa e criativa, e conta sempre com o clássico prato de bacalhau 80° e boas sobremesas.
