Restaurante CASA DO ALENTEJO, Lisboa

A beautiful palatial residence originally built in the 1600s was turned into a social club for those from the Alentejo region living in Lisbon, with a restaurant upstairs. It's accessed through a stunning and unexpected Moorish-style courtyard, and up the stairs you reach a Louis XVI-style ballroom which may be booked for special occasions.
At the two dining rooms you see some beautiful tiles from the 18th and 19th centuries on the walls, and are served a menu of traditional Portuguese cuisine, with a focus on the regional specialties of the Alentejo.

Um belo palacete do século XVII foi transformado em clube alentejano e abriu um restaurante no primeiro andar. A entrada faz-se por um deslumbrante e inesperado pátio em estilo mourisco, e subindo as escadas chega-se a uma sala de baile em estilo Luís XVI, que pode ser reservada para almoços ou jantares especiais.
Nas duas salas forradas com belos azulejos dos séculos XVIII e XIX, servem-se refeições de cozinha tradicional portuguesa, com destaque para as especialidades alentejanas.
