MERCADO Café - Simply Portuguese, Lisboa

Located almost directly across from the São Pedro de Alcântara viewpoint, this café serves light meals created by chef Miguel Castro e Silva, who’s also behind the Lumni restaurant at the top of the same building.
Divided into two rooms separated by the entrance to the The Lumiares Hotel, it serves coffee, juices, salads, sandwiches and cakes, as well as petiscos (Portuguese tapas) and other hot dishes. Some of the choices change daily, but are always inspired by Portuguese cuisine. There’s also the option of cheeses and sausages, therefore offering something for any hour of the day.

Situado quase em frente ao Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, este café serve refeições leves da autoria do chef Miguel Castro e Silva, que também é responsável pela cozinha do restaurante Lumni no topo do mesmo edifício.
Dividido em duas salas separadas pelo hall de entrada do hotel The Lumiares, serve cafés, sumos, saladas, sanduíches e bolos, e ainda petiscos e pratos quentes. Há pratos que mudam todos os dias, mas são todos de inspiração portuguesa. Há ainda a opção de queijos e enchidos, oferecendo assim opções para qualquer hora do dia.
