This late-18th century neoclassical palace consists of two wings connected by a triumphal arch with views of the surrounding Sintra hills.
It was the home of aristocrats until it was turned into a hotel in 1953, welcoming famous guests such as U.S. President Richard Nixon and writer Agatha Christie.
The grand interior is filled with romantic paintings, crystal chandeliers, and a luxurious ambience that retains the charm of the 18th century.

Este palácio neoclássico dos finais do século XVIII é composto por duas alas ligadas por um arco triunfal, de onde se tem uma bela vista para a Serra de Sintra.
Foi residência de aristocratas até ser transformado em hotel em 1953, albergando alguns dos nomes mais famosos da época como o presidente dos EUA Richard Nixon e a escritora Agatha Christie.
O interior grandioso é preenchido por pinturas românticas, lustres de cristal e um ambiente de luxo que mantém o encanto do século XVIII.
