ARMAZÉNS DO CHIADO

Formerly a department store (which advertised itself as the country's largest shop in 1894), it burned down together with much of the neighborhood in 1988.
It reopened in 1999 as a shopping mall, and while nostalgic Lisboetas miss the beautiful interior of its previous incarnation, the truth is that it's a magnet for the city's shopaholics.
Especially popular is the FNAC store for books and music, and just like throughout much of the globalized world, the Starbucks coffee shop.
On the top floor is the food court with views over the city.

Antes de ser o centro comercial de hoje, este espaço foi os grandes armazéns que em 1894 anunciavam ser a maior loja do país.
Veio abaixo com o incêndio do Chiado em 1988, mas reabriu em 1999.
Os lisboetas mais nostálgicos sentem saudades do seu belo interior antigo, mas este não deixa de ser um dos centros comerciais mais procurados da cidade.
As lojas favoritas são a FNAC para livros e música, e o conhecido café Starbucks.
No piso de cima encontra-se a zona de restaurantes com vistas sobre a cidade.
