It used to be a convent but is now one of Lisbon's most romantic hotels.
It's located in a quiet neighborhood and although the building is from the 17th century, this is not one of those antique-filled hotels.
Instead, it was given a contemporary style that harmoniously blends with the classic architecture.
The restaurant serves a high-quality Portuguese menu which can be enjoyed in a charming courtyard when the sun is out.
The name comes from two Yorkshire ladies who first rented the property and turned it into a guesthouse.

Já foi um convento mas é hoje um dos hotéis mais românticos de Lisboa.
Situa-se num bairro tranquilo, e apesar do edifício ser do século XVII, este não é um hotel cheio de antiguidades. Pelo contrário, apresenta um estilo contemporâneo que se enquadra harmoniosamente na arquitetura antiga.
O restaurante serve um requintado menu de cozinha portuguesa que pode ser desfrutado num encantador jardim quando o tempo assim o permite.
O nome deve-se às primeiras proprietárias, duas senhoras de Yorkshire.

This was a very nice hotel with a very pleasant and helpful staff. The room was showing some sign of wear, but it was a nice size and comfortable. The garden was beautiful, but unfortunately the weather was not. This probably affected our experience somewhat. The street was very noisy due to a number of bars so our street facing room was not as peaceful as it could have been.
