Todos os 109 quartos estão decorados com bom gosto (em estilos neoclássico e Art Déco) e a sua piscina (junto a uma cascata decorada com azulejos) é um dos melhores locais para descontrair em Lisboa.
Devido à sua localização numa colina, oferece grandes vistas da cidade e do rio, mesmo nos quartos no primeiro piso.
Encontram-se muitos detalhes caracteristicamente portugueses em todo o edifício, como os belos painéis de azulejos, o mármore das casas-de-banho, e um teto da autoria de Columbano Bordalo Pinheiro.
