It doesn't have to be summer to find lines at the door of this famous ice cream shop in Cascais and Lisbon. Even in the springtime or fall (it closes during the winter months in Cascais), many Lisboetas line up for what they know are the best ice creams in the region.
In a cone or a cup, they've been served for three generations, and in the Lisbon shop they can be enjoyed together with pastries like "the world's best chocolate cake."
The Lisbon branch was opened in 2010 to meet demand, and it stays open throughout the year.
At both shops there are over 20 flavors available, from the classics (chocolate, caramel, vanilla) to the fruity (apple, raspberry, mango, lemon, passion fruit...), to the more unusual cinnamon and mocha.
